Last Friday 18th I turned 60 years old. Family, relatives and friends came home for my birthday: the Ovards, the Gameros, Vero, Stephen, Ale, Carmen, Lourdes, her daughter, the Puertas, the Leyvas, the Neyras. We had a nice family party. There was a lot of food to eat: escabeche, tamales, rocoto relleno. Maruja Puertas brought patitas de chancho.
We could see Lilly, Jacob and Joseph through the QuickCam over the Internet.
I saw myself representing the old generation and my granddaughter Kate as the new generation.
Yesterday it was our anniversary for Angela and me. 33 years together. We went to dine out, and talked about our years in Arequipa. The best thing about marriage is being together all the time.
Today, at Champion Safe, Carmen Gonzalez brought a cake at lunch time for my birthday. It was so delicious. She baked it by herserlf. She is a great lady. We had a nice party with some of the best friends at my job.
