Karen

Two days before I returned to the States, I was just walking in the Miraflores park when suddenly I heard; "Uncle?" It was Karen, Alejandro's daughter.

She lives in Lima. We went to a McDonalds to eat something and talk.

She is so nice and cute. Karen said: "Tio, I"m going to give a news that it is going to disappoint you." "What?" I asked. "I've been converted to catholicism."

She is, or was, an LDS, born under the covenant.

I didn't condemn her. I explained to her about my belief in the Apostles' Creed.

Eventually, religion is a belief and a right. Joseph Smith wrote: "We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may." (11th Article of Faith).
