"If You Could Hie to Kolob"

Saturday 2nd, and Sunday 3rd, we had Stake Conference in our Parkway Provo Stake.
Elder Lance B. Wickman of the First Quorum of the Seventy presided.
During Saturday 7.00 PM session he talked about the importance of going to the temple. He asked the choir to sing the hymn "If you could hie to Kolob." A beautiful hymn. We don't have this hymn in Spanish.

If you could hie to Kolob In the twinkling of an eye,
And then continue onward With the same speed to fly,
Do you think that you could ever, Through all eternty,
Find out the generation Where Gods began to be?

Or see the grand beginning, Where space did not extend?
Or view the last creation, Where Gods and matter end?
Me-thinks the Spirit whispers, No man has found "pure space"
Nor seen the outside curtains, Where nothing has a place.

Improvement and progression Have one eternal round.
