The grandchildren are a gift of God, the assurance of eternity. I have five grandkids and one coming. Lilly and Jeff moved to San Antonio, Texas. They have two sons "the elder was called Jacob and the younger Joseph." (1 Nephi 18:7). I miss them a lot.
When I call Lilly, Jacob and Joseph want to say hi to the "abuelo". All my grandkids
when they say a word in Spanish they do it with a gringo accent: "a..bue..lou". Or like spoiled kids: "gashas", instead of "gracias".

Their image, their words, their way of being, are always in my mind. About Jacob and Joseph, Angela and I like to discuss about their traits, whom they come from, from their mom's side? their dad's? Maybe some traits are mine, maybe Angela's. Jacob and Joseph remind us their mom very much. Some of their traits are exactly the same their mom had when she was a little girl.
We love them a lot.
