This is our daughter Claudia when she was about one year old, back in Arequipa, Peru. She was so cute, and really smart. With her wide open eyes she was always searching for new things in this world. Relatives and friends used to call her "la apachurrita". She resembled a doll with that name. Because of her big smile and beautiful eyes, everybody wanted to hold her and give her a hug. She was intelligent and assertive for her age. She even could choose her toys when she was three months old.
Now Kate, her daughter, is like her. Kate is so cute, smart and assertive. She is so confident in what she is doing. Kate can do anything her brother Ryan is doing. She also has a big beautiful smile. We love her a lot. She is our life.
